Where art & community
come
together

Our Mission

In 2006 Muncie Center for the Arts merged with the Community Arts and Building Foundation, owner of the historic Masonic Temple, forming Cornerstone Center for the Arts.

As Cornerstone, we provide access to the arts for all that leads to a better quality of life and place for our community.

We engage and enrich our community by providing opportunities for creative expression, educational programs for all ages, and host performances, proms, parties, weddings, and community events in a remarkable historic setting.

Cornerstone Center for the Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit governed by a Board of Directors.  We sustain this historic building and provide affordable art education programming through funding sources of room rental fees, class and workshop  fees, fundraising events, grants, and donors. All donations are appreciated and needed to sustain our mission.

Organizational Support

Cornerstone Center for the Arts receives support from the following organizations.  It is because of this support we are able to subsidize the cost of all art classes, provide free programming, and provide financial aid to those in need.  This organizational support brings our historic venue to our community.
