On Saturday, August 24, Cornerstone will offer two 2 hour stop-motion animation workshops focusing on the art and principles of animation as well as how to animate a character with clay and other materials using a digital tablet and animation software. All attendees will participate in animating and making a short film. Space is limited and students must preregister.
Two Workshops are available on Saturday, August 24:
This workshop will be taught by Disney artist and animator, Brad Condie. Brad Condie, Assistant Professor of Animation at Ball State University, teaches traditional 2D animation, character design, experimental animation, and 3D computer animation at Ball State University. Brad Condie has worked in the filmmaking and animation industry for 17+ years. He worked as an artist on six feature length animated films for Walt Disney Feature Animation Studios, including Mulan, Lilo and Stitch, Pocahontas, Brother Bear, Atlantis, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. He has also worked as an in-game character animator for EA Games on The Sims 3 and The Sims 4 game franchise and He recently directed and animated the award winning short film, A Drawing.
