Cornerstone Center for the Arts with Masterworks Chorale welcomes interactive storyteller, Stuart Stotts for two great events happening Saturday, April 14, and Sunday, April 15.
The Stuart Stotts Storytelling Workshop is a musical storytelling experience taking place Saturday, April 14 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Cornerstone Center for the Arts in downtown Muncie. The workshop/presentation is free to attend and geared toward 5th through 8th grade students. Seating is limited to 25 students with one adult attending with each child. Pre-registration is required and available online here.
On Sunday, April 15, Stuart Stotts will be joining MasterWorks Chorale for a performance at 4:00 p.m. in the Grand Hall of Cornerstone Center for the Arts. The concert is titled "Sing Me a Story". Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and free for students. To purchase tickets go to munciemasterworks.org.
Both events will feature award winning singer, author, storyteller, and interactive performer Stuart Stotts. Stuart has worked as a full-time performer since 1986 and gives over 200 shows a year for kids, families, and adults around the Midwest and sometimes farther. He is a frequent presenter at conferences and workshops for teachers, parents and librarians, and is a Kennedy Center teaching artist. Stuart is an enchanting storyteller, with a repertoire of both folktales and personal stories. He is an expert at getting audiences involved through singing, movement and laughter.
