Traditional Animation Ages 12 to 15

This 12 week class focuses on the subject of animation. It is designed to educate the participants in the medium of animation. The class will cover animation history, animation principles, character design, character animation, effects animation, and creating a short animated story. At the end of the course, the student should have an understanding of a brief description of animation history, the 12 principles of animation, how to use a digital tablet and software to create timeline based animation, animating materials in stop motion, traditional animation, animating an actor/character, creating a story, and creating a short animated film.
