Fall Celebration

Fall Celebration

Cornerstone Center for the Arts will conclude its current class session with its Fall Celebration on Sunday, December 8. This recital will include dance and music performances as well as a martial arts demonstration, and a student art gallery. Celebration will also include special recognition of outstanding members of the Cornerstone community. The recipients of the Beth Turcotte Arts Education Achievement Award, the Judith Barnes Spirit of Service Award, The Doug Bakken Small Business Steward Award,and the Robert and Beverly Terhune Corporate Champion will be honored during the Celebration.

Giving Tuesday is a worldwide day dedicated to strengthening communities, encouraging giving and celebrating generosity. The PrimeTrust Federal Credit Union Scarevania Haunted Attraction at Cornerstone Center for the Arts opens for the season on Saturday, October 11! This is the first haunt season after the merger of Scarevania and Son of Scarevania. The former Son of Scarevania has been completely transformed with new spaces being added to the haunt’s floorplan, which is sure to leave guests stunned. Scarevania Haunted House will be open October 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, and 26 from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Dust off your fishnets and pleather; it is time to do the Time Warp again! Cornerstone Center for the Arts and Big Shots Pub are excited for the sixth annual showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show presented by After Dark's Muncie, Marion, and Anderson locations. Rocky Horror is on Saturday, September 28 at 8 p.m. in the E.B. Ball Auditorium at Cornerstone in Downtown Muncie. The Old Queen's Men shadow cast is back for this interactive showing of the cult classic film. The event is made possible with support from Speedy Dogs and The Fabulous Funcie Femmes.
