The 33rd Annual A Taste of Muncie

Cornerstone Center for the Arts and PrimeTrust Federal Credit Union are excited to announce the 33rd Annual A Taste of Muncie on Sunday, March 31 from 2 to 4 p.m. A VIP event will precede the main event at 1 p.m. A Taste of Muncie is presented by Indiana Michigan Power, 104.1 WLBC, 104.9 WERK FM, 93.5 MAX Radio, 96.7 BLAKE FM, and  FOX Sports Radio 102.9 FM/1340 AM, with support from Praxis Consulting, Vera Mae’s Bistro, The Guardian Brewing Co., and New Corner Brewing Company.

This annual fundraiser features cuisine from several of the finest restaurants and food vendors in the area. Attendees are invited to sample items and vote on “The Best of Taste” in various categories. All proceeds from the event benefit Cornerstone Center for the Arts’ arts programs and events.

Avoid the crowds and long lines by purchasing a VIP ticket for just $40. This year’s VIP pre-event will pair beer from Guardian and New Corner breweries with food samplings from Vera Mae’s Bistro. VIP ticket holders will gain early entrance to A Taste of Muncie with the reception beginning at 1 p.m. followed by early access to all food vendors, private entertainment, and reserved seating private from general admission ticket holders.

General admission tickets are limited, purchasing tickets in advance is recommended. Tickets are $20 per person in advance or $25 the day of the event while supplies last.

Food vendors may participate in the event free of charge. Not only is participating in the event great advertising, it is a wonderful way to give back to the community while earning bragging rights. Area restaurants and vendors interested in participating in A Taste of Muncie can sign up online or contact Jeff Robinson, Associate Executive Director, at 765-281-9503, ext. 27.
