Spring FUNdraising at Cornerstone

Cornerstone Center for the Arts is preparing for another busy season of fundraising. Cornerstone puts the FUN in fundraising with various classes, workshops, events, and fundraisers that raise money for the organization’s low-cost, quality arts programs for youth and adults.

Coming up first are spring 12-week classes beginning the week of February 5. These weekly courses in visual arts, dance, theatre, music, martial arts, fitness, and more are perfect for preschoolers through retirees. In addition, Cornerstone offers various one-time workshops in visual arts, music, dance, theatre, and history. Registration fees for classes and workshops helps to support the organization’s commitment to provide arts education to all walks-of-life.

The 32nd Annual A Taste of Muncie presented by PrimeTrust Federal Credit Union is on Sunday, April 8 from 2 to 4 p.m. with a VIP reception prior to the event. Guests are invited to sample the culinary selections of local restaurants, cafes, caterers, and more competing for the “Best of Taste.” Interested vendors may contact Cornerstone Center for the Arts at 765-281-9503.

The Cornerstone and Midwest POS Solutions Muncie Brewfest in partnership with Indiana on Tap is coming up on Saturday, April 21 from 3 to 6 p.m. with early admission at 2 p.m. This celebration of Muncie and Hoosier craft beer is a one of a kind festival featuring self-distributed and point of purchase brews from around the state. Microbrew lovers with all tastes will enjoy over 30 beers for the low admission price of $25 for general admission and $40 for early admission.
