Spring Celebration

Cornerstone Center for the Arts will conclude its current class session with its Spring Celebration on Sunday, May 6. This recital will include dance and music performances as well as a student art gallery.

The show will begin at 2 p.m. in the E.B. Ball Auditorium followed by light refreshments in the Colonnade Room on the first floor of Cornerstone. The event will continue until 4 p.m.

Celebration will highlight the work of this session’s youth and adult dance and private lesson music students. Information about the upcoming summer class session will be available at the event. Things are heating up at Cornerstone Center for the Arts this June! In addition to this summer’s eight week class session beginning the week of June 10, Cornerstone will offer multiple one time workshops and camps during the month of June. Camps include Rock and Roll Summer Camp and Summer Arts Camp while one-time workshops offered in June include Master Class Workshops with Jacob DrummerBad Art Night at Maring-Hunt Library, En Plein Air, and the Community Drum Circle with Music for All.

The Harmony Players will present H.M.S. Pinafore live at Cornerstone Center for the Arts this May. Performances of this charming and funny light opera about love and mistaken identities will take place on May 9, 10, and 11 with shows at 7:30 p.m. each evening and a special matinee on Saturday at 2 p.m.
