Rock n Roll Summer Camp Winter Workshop Concert

March 27, 2020

Let's take a look back to our concert a few weeks ago of some of our wonderful rock stars!

Cornerstone is excited to partner again with Rock and Roll Summer Camp to expand the horizons of music-minded kids ages 11 to 17.

This immersive program encourages guitarists, drummers, bassists, singers, keyboardists, and DJs of all skills to take their love of music to the next level. Campers spent six Saturdays this winter learning about being a musician, music theory, song writing, concert production, promotion, presentation, music business, stage presence, instrument care, recording and producing live sound, networking, and music appreciation.

The final day will be spent setting up for and performing in the finale concert. Students will be split into groups by their previous skill level; basic, intermediate, and advanced. Groups formed bands and worked on songs to perform for the end of camp concert.

A huge THANK YOU to Chris Swinney, our wonderful instructor, for encouraging all these wonderful kids to shine!
