Performances @ Cornerstone in October

Cornerstone Center for the Arts in partnership with Ball State University’s School of Music, Department of Theatre & Dance, and The Harmony Players will continue the Performances @ Cornerstone series this October with entertainment from BSU’s Department of Theatre & Dance and BSU’s Woodwind Chamber Music Ensembles. Upcoming shows are on Sunday, October 13 and 27 at 2:00 p.m. and are free and open to the public.

Sunday, October 13 join students and faculty from the Department of Theatre & Dance as they explore, explain, and entertain with excerpts from upcoming productions in the 2019-2020 season. Through preview performances and conversations, you will get a behind-the-scenes look at the rehearsal process and a greater understanding of the collaboration required to take a production from idea to full fruition.

On Sunday, October 27 Ball State music students from across the country, including members of the newly formed Beneficence Woodwind Quintet, graduate ensemble in residence in the BSU School of Music, will talk about woodwind instruments and will perform accessible music for all ages.

Upcoming productions include BSU Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble & Cardinal Trombone Choir (November 10) and The Harmony Players (November 24) with more to come in 2020!
