Saturday, April 21 Cornerstone Center for the Arts and Midwest POS Solutions bring you Muncie Brewfest presented by PrimeTrust Federal Credit Union and the Muncie Visitor’s Bureau. The event will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. on Cornerstone’s third floor with a special early bird entrance time of 2 p.m.
Cornerstone has collaborated with Indiana on Tap to celebrate Hoosier craft beer, featuring more than 15 breweries from around Indiana serving over 50 craft brews. Additional support for the event comes from Guardian Brewing Co., New Corner Brewing Co., Elm Street Brewing Co., Books & Brews, and the Hops and Vines Bus.
The admission fee includes unlimited samples of the over 50 craft brews from Hoosier breweries that self-distribute or do not distribute outside of their tasting rooms. A local food vendor will provide food for sale throughout the event. The Bashville Boys and DJ Jannell will provide entertainment for the afternoon. In addition, the Hops and Vines Bus will shuttle attendees from Muncie Brewfest to Elm Street Brewing Co., Books & Brews, and Guardian Brewing Co. from 5 to 9 p.m. at no additional cost.
Proceeds from Muncie Brewfest will support Cornerstone’s mission to provide the community with quality arts programming for all. Cornerstone’s arts program serves thousands of youth and adults each year with life-enhancing arts education. Many of Cornerstone’s students receive some form of financial aid or discount, which is made possible through fundraisers like Muncie Brewfest.
This event is open to ages 21 and older only. Early bird tickets are $40 per person, general admission tickets are $25 per person, and admission for designated drivers is just $10. Cornerstone Center for the Arts will participate in the Giving Tuesday movement on Tuesday, December 3. Giving Tuesday is a worldwide day dedicated to strengthening communities, encouraging giving and celebrating generosity. Each year, Giving Tuesday takes place the Tuesday after Thanksgiving to kick-off holiday giving. Local communities are encouraged to participate at the individual, nonprofit and corporate levels.

Join Cornerstone Center for the Arts on Thursday, November 7 for the opening reception of Inamorata & the Floating City featuring art by Sarah Richcreek. The reception will take place in the Judith Barnes Memorial Gallery on the second floor of Cornerstone from 5 to 7 p.m. in conjunction with November’s First Thursday events.
