A Christmas Scarol at Son of Scarevania Haunted Attraction

Son of Scarevania Haunted House will be open for a special one night only Christmas themed haunt on Saturday, December 15 from 7 pm to midnight. A Christmas Scarol is presented by Wall's Furniture & Mattress and brought to you by Wagglebottoms Kennel and Cattery, Cornerstone Center for the Arts and Scarevania Haunted House with the purpose of collecting donations for the City of Muncie Animal Care and Services Department and Cornerstone Center for the Arts.

Monetary donations (benefiting Cornerstone), as well as donated items from the Muncie Animal Care’s wish list will serve as the admission fee to A Christmas Scarol at Son of Scarevania on Saturday, December 15. Donations of $5 cash benefit Cornerstone and items such canned adult and puppy dog food, flea and tick medication, dog shampoo, cat carriers, and cat litter will benefit the needs of the animal shelter. The full wish list is below.

A Christmas Scarol is not intended for young children. Son of Scarevania is located at 520 E. Main St. in Downtown Muncie at Cornerstone Center for the Arts. For more information about A Christmas Scarol visit cornerstonearts.org.

Muncie Altrusa Foundation Awards $10,000 to Cornerstone for New Digital Arts Studio

Muncie Altrusa Foundation recently awarded a $10,000 grant to Cornerstone Center for the Arts. Cornerstone plans to use this grant to develop and implement a new digital arts program that includes graphic design, Photoshop, animation, and digital painting. A new studio, which will be dedicated to the program, will be constructed and introduced in Fall 2019. Classes in the new digital arts program will be available to students of all ages across the community.

Things are heating up at Cornerstone Center for the Arts this June! In addition to this summer’s eight week class session beginning the week of June 10, Cornerstone will offer multiple one time workshops and camps during the month of June. Camps include Rock and Roll Summer Camp and Summer Arts Camp while one-time workshops offered in June include Master Class Workshops with Jacob DrummerBad Art Night at Maring-Hunt Library, En Plein Air, and the Community Drum Circle with Music for All.
