Masterworks Chorale is beginning its 26th season. We are an auditioned community chorus who draws members from Delaware, Jay, Randolph, Blackford, and Henry counties. We exist to enrich our audiences with quality cultural experiences through live performances and the promotion of fine choral music.

Our goal is to perform and educate.  Our programming encompasses a broad range of music, including great religious and patriotic hymns, appealing traditional folk music, monumental masterpieces of great composers and modern works of contemporary composers.

The Chorale rehearses every Monday evening from 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM. We perform 4 concerts a year and we have dress rehearsals the Saturday preceding those concerts usually from 9:00 AM until noon.

Donations are taken from singers to support the Chorale and are tax deductible. If a singer wants to attain member status so s/he has voting privileges, the minimum donation is $75.00. If a singer can't afford this amount, 10 hours of volunteer time can substitute for the $75.00. Before a person can become a member, s/he must audition with the Artistic Director, Dr. Kvam. The autumn auditions are announced in the newspaper, but other auditions may be arranged by calling the Masterworks Chorale office.
