ArtsWalk will take place on September 24, 2009 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm in the streets of Downtown Muncie. This event will feature a wealth of musical talent and visual artistry through performance, demonstration, and display. There will be booths and activities all along Walnut Street for arts organizations, groups, and individual artisans.

All the galleries in downtown will be open featuring a variety of local artists and mediums.  Many individual artisans will be selling their work. Tours will be provided of local arts collections at City Hall and other locations.

The Ball State University Jazz Ensemble, Tuba Ensemble, Saxophone Ensemble, and a diverse collection of local talent will perform in the streets.  Downtown eateries will entice "artwalkers" with their own unique flavors as well as artistic culinary demonstrations. Ivy Tech culinary students will demonstrate the art of garnishment.

The trolley will run throughout the path of ArtsWalk every fifteen minutes. This event is free and open to the public. So join the “artwalkers” on September 24th for an evening of art, music, food and fun!
